Slow Galo's self-titled EP ranges from minimalist dream-pop to percussive folk jams saturated with harmonies, warm synths and electronic beats. Slow Galo (Felicity Cripps) has collaborated with producer Tim Harvey (Sally Seltmann, Super Hooper) to create this 6-track gem. It features some of Melbourne's finest musicians including Tim Harvey, Jimmy Saunders (Colour Bomb, Gotye) and Daniel Twomey (Lower Plenty).
Slow Galo's live show features Melbourne duo, Liam Linley and Felicity Cripps. Both are long-term members of Melbourne band, HOY. Their live show reflects years of songwriting, performing and travelling together, with influences spanning Vashti Bunyan to The Go-Betweens. Catch Slow Galo when they launch their EP at The Gasometer on Wednesday 26 November.
