Little Desert’s last gig was described as something akin to a David Lynch film. Perhaps if Lynch was a fan of Black Sabbath or The Savage Rose. | Formed in 2012, Little Desert are growing a loyal following on the fringes of Melbourne’s rock scene. They have been described, quite appropriately, as “heavy, guts grabbing, pulsing, swirling, screaming psych rock ‘n’ roll.”
After a sold out launch of their premiere single ‘Ashes’ (released by local label ‘it’ records, alongside releases from White Hex, Miles Brown, Liam Kenny + The Metronomes), Little Desert are performing every Thursday in September before bunkering down to work on the imminent release of their LP.
The band have accumulated supports from an eclectic mix of some of Melbourne’s finest radicals, including DEAD BOOMERS, MODESTY, HOWL AT THE MOON, TANGRAMS, BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH, THE GRAND RAPIDS, and the one and only STELLA ANGELICO.
