Melbourne duo, Liam Linely and Felicity Cripps have spent the past few years touring and recording with 6-piece band, HOY. The pair recently returned from a national tour, celebrating HOY's debut album, Aquaslum. Stripping back to the bare bones, Liam and Felicity have launched a latest project - Slow Galo. Like a slow pony journeying home, Slow Galo reflects years of songwriting, performing and travelling together. The duo covers vast musical territories; from Vashti Bunyan to The Go-Betweens, creating a rollicking, dreamy set of original material. Songs are performed with minimal arrangements - mostly two electric guitars and spine-tingling boy/girl vocals. Catch them in the front bar of The Gasometer on Tuesday 23rd September from 8.30pm.
