Teeth & Tongue’s songwriter Jess Cornelius is going to Iceland for three months to write reggae music. Before she leaves, the band is playing one final send-off show at the Gasometer, capping off a huge 12 months that’s included slots at Meredith music festival and Boogie, three Music Victoria Award nominations, three national tours and the release of highly-acclaimed album GRIDS. With the open Gasometer roof allowing for maximum Vitamin D exposure, this last hurrah is a great opportunity to catch Teeth & Tongue while their songs are still sung in English.
Fraser A. Gorman and his band will be playing a swag of new songs from his forthcoming debut album due to be released in May through Milk! Records/Marathon Artists. After a huge year in 2014 launching the single 'Book Of Love', touring nationally with C.W Stoneking, shows with Courtney Barnett and Augie March, playing a stellar showcase at Bigsound and attracting international attention in anticipation for his album release. This will be Fraser's last headline show in Melbourne until launching and touring the album later in the year. Come along and let it all hang out.
