The Gasometer is thrilled to be hosting a fantastic triple bill to celebrate Australia Day 2015. Monday, 26 January will see The Tiger & Me, Dan Lethbridge & The Campaigners and Amarillo all grace the Gaso stage for a twilight show with the roof wide open.
Much-loved quintet The Tiger & Me walk a line that threads through indie anthems, folk duos, theatrical electro-pop and driving rock. The band features three lead singers fronting a dynamic rhythm section, combining for a highly varied live show. Come and see them make their debut at the Gasometer.
Part dusty folk singer/part electric guitar slinger, Dan Lethbridge fronts The Campaigners...a super band of sorts featuring Damon Smith, Jed Pickett, Stew Taylor and Ralf Rehak. Fresh from recording a new album, the band will bring a little bit of everything to the Gaso stage.
Amarillo is the alt-folk duo of Nick O'Mara and Jac Tonks. Their music is a blend of pop harmonies, soaring lap steel, dark tremolo and slack-tuned finger style guitar. They open what will be an exceptional afternoon of music. Early bird drink specials between 5.00 - 7.00pm. Lucky door prizes. Music from 6.00pm.
