Having just completed recording his 2nd solo album at Wilco’s famed Loft studio in Chicago, Paul Dempsey is ready to take to the stage with his full band for the first time in over four years at the Queenscliff Music Festival. Ahead of this Paul and his band will play a very special early warm-up show at the Gasometer Hotel on Friday 27th of November, running through a selection of brand new tracks, as well as favourites from his much loved (and gold selling) debut solo record “Everything Is True”.
Paul will introduce his new live band to the stage for the very first time ahead what promises to be a busy 2106. A more talented bunch it would be difficult to find, featuring Pat Bourke (bass -Tex Perkins band, ex -Dallas Crane), Adrian Stoyles (guitar & keys –Gin Club), Shannon Vanderwert (drums – ex Dallas Crane) and Olympia (guitar & keys).
Paul and his band cordially invite you to this early and intimate performance at one of their favourite Melbourne pubs, and can’t wait to hit the stage together for the very first time. Band on stage at 5.00pm SHARP.
