Tender Bones, St. Morris Sinners & The Broken Needles

Tickets $5 on the door. Doors 8.30pm.

On Wednesday the 11th of February the Gasometer will host Adelaide band St. Morris Sinners, who are touring their debut album For Lease. Forming in late 2011 the band consists of the bluesy distorted-guitar of Django Rowe, the muddy bass of George Thalassoudis and the driving back beat of percussionist Angus Mason. This creates a solid foreground for which enigmatic front man slippery Stephen Johnson can incorporate his preacher-driven lyrics and raucous energy. The Sinners draw influence from such bands as The Gun Club, The Modern Lovers and The Triffids just to name a few. The sinners will be joined by local Melbourne acts The Broken Needles and Tender Bones.
