A procession of Melbourne’s pop finery will be playing for a worthy cause at The Gasometer on Sunday the 15th of February. Darren Hanlon, Sodastream, Anthony Atkinson & the Running Mates, The Zebras and Ben Mason will all share the stage for a killer Sunday afternoon show under the retracted roof of the Gaso bandroom. There will be beer, cracking tunes and a healthy dash of good conscience.
It’s all for an organistation called State School Relief a charity group that has been helping disadvantaged families in Victoria since The Depression by providing extra funds to public schools to pay for shoes and uniforms. State School Relief is funded purely by donations and all money raised on the day will go directly to them.
The State School Relief benefit will kick off at 3.00pm on Sunday the 15th of February and proceed into the early evening until DJ Marky Monnone (Lost and Lonesome label manager and notable gentleman of the inner north) closes it all out with a collection of tunes from his man bag.
