Cyclone Pam was the worst natural disaster in the living memory of the island nation of Vanuatu, destroying the homes, food and water supplies, and lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent victims. The Melbourne music scene doesn’t take kindly to this sort of c-word-y behaviour, so is banding together to raise some local currency - aka Vatu – for the truly needy. Join Tully On Tully, Tiny Little Houses, Neighbourhood Youth, Private Life, Ariela Jacobs and Olivers Army as they serve up a musical smorgasbord of beautiful, soulful, powerful, magical and sinfully delicious delights. At the prestigious (and newly revamped) Gasometer Hotel, ten dollar-doos will get you into the event, with all proceeds going towards providing vital relief to children and families affected by Cyclone Pam. From 7pm onwards on Sunday June 7 (Queen's birthday eve), It’s a syrupy double hit of tiiiiight live music and serious karma for an incredibly deserving cause.
