Having left his native home-town of Melbourne three years ago for permanent residency in Sweden, singer-songwriter Lindsay Phillips is stopping briefly back in Australia and will play one show only at the Gasometer Hotel on Wednesday July 8th as part of Melbourne’s Leaps And Bounds festival.
At the point of his departure, Lindsay had just released his second full-length TAEDIUM VITAE and has since furnished the public with the homespun SOLGUDEN album. Coincidently, 2015 will mark not only the 10th year of Lindsay’s career as solo artist but also the arrival of a new record, PSALM IV: DEN SISTA SORGEN. It is most likely that this will be his only live performance for 2015…and most unlikely that he will return to these shores any time soon.
Special guests for the evening - Broads, fresh from a run of interstate shows and festival performances, and Brendan Welch, who will release his long awaited sophomore record later this year through Two Bright Lakes.
