The wild, feel-good, high energy surf rock and roll show of Spanish legends is back in Australia this spring. LOS CORONAS continue their love affair with Australia as they leave a European summer of occasional sunshine, dirty beaches and dozens of club, festival and rock and roll shows for the supreme pleasure of an Australian spring tour. LOS CORONAS are a national treasure in Spain so if you like high-energy, hip-shaking rock and roll, the classic sounds of Spain and old school surf music then this trip is for you. Hang on tight as LOS CORONAS reach the Gasometer in Collinwgood on Thursday 24 September!

After their debut Australian tour in 2012/2013 that saw them play and totally slay audiences at Woodford, Pyramid Rock, Sydney Festival, Mona Foma and many more – Spain’s legendary LOS CORONAS came paddling back into to the Australian & NZ summer in early 2014 for another wild ride on stages across the country and played major events like Golden Plains Festival, WOMADelaide, WOMAD NZ, Enlighten Canberra as well as playing headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Newcastle and Dunsborough. Other than delivering a righteous and unforgettable live show, LOS CORONAS have forged a name for themselves around the world with a distinctive blend of surf-tinged atmospheric twang and their own Spanish musical heritage. Their sound is a mix of Spanish melodies, raw r'n'r intensity and their own vision of the 60s Californian surf sound, blended with a heavy dose of Spaghetti Western echoes.

“Oh, man!!! Stellar material from very together players. The writing is really good, from straight ahead surf rants to amazing Spanish flamenco and pasodoble excursions all reverbed out. Some tracks are entirely unique, unlike anything you've ever heard before. Their writing is immediately identifiable, yet always fresh. This is the mark of a great band. Brilliant guitaristry supported by the trademark excellence of the best rhythm section in surf music." Dan Electro, Surf's Up Magazine.
