The Happy Wanderer Festival were aching for a trip, and with the festival still far on the horizon, they’re bringing a bit of the good stuff to Melbourne this September with a Sunday residency at the Gaso. Collaborating with artists from around Australia, the line-up is a morsel of what will be feasted on at the festival in Benalla October 30 - November 2.
On September 6 wander along a hazy journey of alt-country dreamscapes with James Kenyon, launching his new single. Born and raised in South Australia, and now living in Melbourne, his song writing is a view from a car or a busted metal bridge or a window in a hall. James will be supported by the doo-wop bluesy rhythms of singer-songwriter Emilee South and Manny Fox.
