Punk mates and DIYers Wet Lips and Cable Ties announce split 7" and extravagant launch party.
After a ripping first half of 2016 (including sold out headline shows and inexplicable support slots for international tours) both bands spent the winter months in a freezing warehouse/recording studio with Paul Maybury working on new records. With those records now nearing completion it felt right to release the first fruits of that labour together on a split 7" single. Wetters deliver a typically blistering two and half minute nugget in "Shame" while the Ties offer up a smouldering post-punk groove on "Cut Me Down".
To celebrate this occasion Wet Lips and Cable Ties will be joined by the sort of line up they could only dream about in their wildest dreams.
Witness the meteoric rise of admin punks Crop Top and the radiating energy and pulse of the mighty Taipan Tiger Girls. Keeping the fires burning right through til 3am will be dancefloor-filling extraordinaires SHOUSE and the incomparable HABITS DJs. PBS FM's Press Gang will be holding it down between bands.
Join us for an evening of awesome.
