Melbourne's synth/pop acts Au Dré and DXHeaven are teaming up to launch their new EP’s on Friday the 13th of May at the Gasometer Hotel.
After a whirlwind end to 2015 attending the Red Bull Music Academy in Paris and the release of his single ‘Define’ Melbourne producer/songwriter Nicholas Lam A.K.A. DXHeaven is back with a new EP.
The EP combines the sophisticated and polished production style of contemporary electro with relentlessly catchy hooks and melodies. The clean and driving vocals are reminiscent of 80’s power pop from the likes of Tears for Fears or 10cc.
After the success of their single releases Fool Me, Climax and Wanna Know Au Dré are finally ready to drop their much anticipated self titled debut EP.
Au Dré is a collaboration between powerhouse vocalist/trumpeter Audrey Powne and keyboardist/producer James Bowers a.k.a. JamBau. The pair have been playing music together in various projects since their teens and have combined to pursue their mutual love of maximalist electronic music and 80’s funk and disco.
