July 19 2014 saw Spoonful celebrate their 21st birthday at The Gasometer in Collingwood. No one - not the band, not the venue, not the punter - realised just how much love and support they had generated in their first 21 years, resulting in a sold out show (in fact, well over sold out) hours before the band hit the stage. Over 200 people couldn’t even get into the venue!
Since then, the band have released their album ‘Indian Tiger Waterfall’ to another sold out show at The Spotted Mallard and rave reviews and festival slots around the country.
Sunday May 15 will see Spoonful return to the scene of their birthday party, with a special free show to thank the fans for their support. This will be the last show for a few months as various members work on other projects overseas, and before the launch of their first single since ‘Indian Tiger Waterfall’.
As a special thank you from the band and the venue for your support, this show will be FREE ENTRY, however, to secure your spot, you MUST reserve a free ticket via the Gas website.
See you at the show!
