Melbourne psych folk four piece Cold Hands Warm Heart present their debut video created by acclaimed contemporary artist Zoe Scoglio. The video, as an extension of CHWH's recently released self-titled album, explores textures and the collision of the natural and urban environments, in this case of the Merri Creek. Capturing interactions with the elements and surrounds, from a native bee to storm-water drain waterfalls, images of the band's limbs and faces exude a serene elegance and simplicity. A visual and sonic meditation on our connection to the urban ecology that surrounds us, it's history and our place within it. CHWH have been developing their live set as a continual song cycle, interspersing found sounds and lever harp with synth and pop sensibilities. An ever evolving performance. Poetic reflections on our synergy with nature. A magnetising deep listening experience.
