Fledging Fall is out now through Brisbane label SUGARRUSHMusic and still captures elements of her traditional folk roots. But this striking group of songs captures a new confidence as she finds a new creative voice and a whole new palette of sounds. It is also a record where ´Áine has taken collaboration to new levels.
“My musical family flew in from all corners of the world to see what they could add to our three days of work," she explains. "The songs flew back and forth from Australia to Ireland to America and each time I was in awe of the hands that came into help this little EP hatch into the best damn thing it could be. The only thing that interrupted our recordings were the birds. Chickens, magpies, and all the other birds of the forest came and checked in every now and then to see what we were up to. We decided on a name of Fledging Fall for the body of work as this piece of work represents the idea of what comes next after the hatching of my first album.”

Áine has just completed her first European and Irish tour in over six years – which saw her receive rave reviews. She had her song "Don't Be Left Crying" hit number 1 the national Irish broadcaster RTE indie releases chart as well as the EP being included in and move into the top ten of the 'World Music" iTunes charts in both Ireland and Australia.
The release of Fledging Fall comes as Áine continues work on her next album in Ireland with Glen Hansard's band The Frames, Liam O'Maonlai (Hothouse Flowers), and long time producer Mark Stanley.
Australian audiences will get the chance to experience Fledgling Fall live with a huge tour throughout September. October and November 2017 including major festivals and sharing the stage with fellow Irish songwriters Wallis Bird and Declan O Rourke.
