To celebrate the release of their debut EP Half Asleep, Four in the Morning have gathered together some of their favourite Melbourne acts for a big Sunday sesh upstairs at The Gasometer Hotel.
Described as “melodic and gritty” by MP3 Hugger, and “frighteningly honest with harmonious beauty” by The Drunken Poet, Four In The Morning’s songs are restless and raw. A mix of poetic, considered lyrics and beautifully crafted noise.
Joining them are The Slingers, hot off the release of their own EP, Fake Fruit. Neil Young meets The War On Drugs with a healthy dose of Australiana, The Slingers are seriously impressive.
Ciaran Boyle will also be popping by. A true professional, Ciaran’s currently prepping for his first album and will be debuting his new band.
Last but not least, we’ll have Time Robb, who’s been fast winning over Melbourne with his wonderfully introspective DIY folk.
