Welcoming back summer in a big way with CUT THE MUSTARD festival this November at Melbourne’s iconic Gasometer Hotel. Featuring a ten-hour program of homegrown garage punk and indie acts from across Australia, it’ll be one to blast the roof off the joint, literally... Taking full advantage of the return of daylight savings, the Gasometer roof will be wide open allowing for a unique, sun-soaked day in the band room.
Like any good party, there will be a BBQ upstairs (vegan friendly) and cheap tinnies provided by the good folks of Young Henrys. Joining the bill is guitar-pop outfit The Ocean Party on the final stop of massive national tour, dreamy rock revivalists and Unearthed favourites IV League, Brisbane’s edgy indie-rockers Thigh Master and a stacked lineup of local talent including Bitch Diesel, Dianas, Swim Team, Plastic and Forever Son.
Late night and interstitial soundtracks will be provided by DJ Big Rig (The Harpoons) and Cool Room DJs Sebastian Sibelle and Fieldwork (back to back).
Music will run 4pm till late. Tickets can be purchased via Oztix for $18 or on the door for a crisp $20.
