It's taken Harmony Byrne years of performing as a solo artist to take a deep breathe and brave the realm of band-hood. Now, she can't stop herself collaborating with many different people, with many different sounds, which she will be sharing with us at her May residency.
“Residencies can be a real challenge,” says Harmony, “trying to keep people interested each week and interesting for myself also, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to share the diversity of what I do. Being involved in a few projects at the moment, I have noticed how enriching it is not to limit myself to one ‘style’ or ‘genre’. Playing electronic music can be just as soulful as playing with a blues band, and playing solo can be just as loud as playing with a rock n roll band.”
For your musical pallets enjoyment, Harmony Byrne brings you a taste of her current projects, offering something honest and different each week. Along with a compelling array of support acts, you’ll be skipping your cheap tuesday parmaz, and popping on down to the Gaso for a delectable 4-course-meal style month of Harmony’s tunes.
