Loose Change Presents: Liptember
Liptember is a campaign dedicated to educating the community on women's mental health whilst raising funds towards specific women's mental health research and support programs. Women are urged to purchase a Liptember lipstick from participating retailers and register online, gaining sponsorship for wearing the lipstick throughout the month of September. The organisation gives all profits they make throughout the campaign to the following organisations, Centre of Women’s Mental Health, Lifeline, Batyr, RUOK?, The Jean Hailes Foundation and The Pretty Foundation.
Door entry will be $15 all night and we will have tins going around so you can donate your loose change ;). All profits from the Loose Change Charity event will go to Liptember.
To support this amazing cause, on the night we will be encouraging (forcing) everyone to wear Liptember lipsticks upon arrival, or of course you can prepare before you walk in. We aim to break down stigmas surrounding mental health and what better a way to do this than to encourage people to doll up.
Liptember CEO, Luke Morris will be a very special guest coming to say a few words about the organisation.
