Juice Webster is a folk/alternative rock artist from Melbourne inspired by the music of artists such as Nick Cave, Feist and Jeff Buckley. Webster’s sound has, over time, become a fusion between the raw, honest and bare elements of folk music and the dark and atmospheric characteristics of alternative rock
Wrocław is the stage name for Melbourne singer-songwriter, performer and composer Imogen Cygler. Inspired by artists such as Regina Spektor, Kate Miller-Heidke and Susanne Sundfør, Wrocław has a contemporary sound with a classic pedigree. Cygler is currently studying Interactive Composition at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Hoi Palloi are a new project featuring the compositions of Hannah McKittrick, playing with ambient texture while being heavily rooted in groove and abstract narrative. Their songs explore the comforting fluidity of seasonal change, challenge cynicism as the only path to being hip n cool and question the sincerity of commuters who read Penguin Classics.
