Recorded in studios, bedrooms and rehearsal rooms - “Less The Love Between Us” is the debut album from Melbourne’s own indie garage punks The Rollercanes. At the end of 2016, The Rollercanes decided to embark on the daunting and grueling task of creating their debut album. Over the course of the next year, with a budget of approximately $17, the Melbourne locals spent every minute of free time writing and recording, what has now become, “Less The Love Between Us.” The albums lyrics are a snapshot of being in your early twenties in Melbourne, with songs about: nights out, the people they know and the people they’ve foolishly tried to impress. The Rollercanes songs are equal parts romantic and self-deprecating, with a dash of sarcasm thrown in for good measure. The Rollercanes will be launching their debut album at The Gasometer Upstairs on Saturday the 12th of May alongside Teenage Dads and Cracker La Touf.
Less The Love Between Us is out April 27 via Main Offender Records. Available on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Bandcamp and more.
