The Royal Parks are named after a beautiful park in Melbourne's (Naarm) north, the land of which had long been a camping ground for ceremony for the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land where we live and make music, and that sovereignty has never been ceded.
The Royal Parks are proud to release the third single of their debut album, produced by Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart, Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes), HUSKY).
Conjure (Part Two) is a dreamy and beautifully moving reflection on friendship and loss; it powerfully captures the complexity of feelings when recalling treasured memories, finishing with a tribute an Australian song-writing classic.
They will be playing a full band show to celebrate the release on the 28th of June at the Gaso upstairs with support from Emily Ulman and Jackson McLaren. It will be the last show for the band before Amy and Tea become parents for the first time.
