In the last ten years, all of us have been blessed with the opportunity to dance the night away and make life-long friends at various magical electronic institutions around this great musical city of Melbourne. Whether you’ve boogied at Burn City Disco, frequented a Novel event, danced all night at UNTITLED’s XE54 or were lucky enough to call Survivor, 161 Thursdays, President Press, Revolver’s Summer Series, The Ritz or Factorie home, there’s a local man whose been a huge part of them all. The legendary Dan Bentley invites you to come to a special day party at the iconic Gasometer to celebrate TEN VERY SPECIAL YEARS of DJing.
Dan Bentley found his love for delivering a smorgasboard of beats to make a d-floor groove when he was a serial tune-picker at house parties. It was the beloved club Survivor that led him to discover his passion for disco, house and techno music. In ten years, not only has he helped birth multiple parties across hundreds of different days and nights, he’s also played for Four Tet, Seth Troxler, Sasha, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Detroit Swindle, CC:DISCO!, Mr G, and Allen Alien. He’s an absolute highlight at Strawberry Fields Festival and has had the privilege of opening the Wildlands Stage for the huge crowd for the last two years.
Come drink, dance and celebrate an enormous decade of music, alongside some of the very best who have made it all happen with him:
